Can we book a private charter or group booking?Yes, absolutely. Please contact us by emailing lcbt@gmail.com or complete the booking enquiry form found in the tours section. While we have scheduled tour dates on our calendar, gather your own crew and we can arrange a trip any day, any time (weather permitting). Let's make waves together!
-
Will the tours be cancelled if the weather is windy?Safety is always our priority and although Observer can handle most ocean conditions well, the Southern Ocean can be wild at times and due to the nature of operating ocean tours, we may have to cancel due to rough conditions. If the weather forecasted is unsuitable for the tour, we will sms and email customers and offer the to re-schedule or/ full refund. When we look at the forecast conditions for our coastal tours - we look at a range of parameter's and make decisions on cancellations based on sea conditions, swell, wind strength, direction and wind wave.
